I assume the first quoted post refers to the Openserve upgrade?
If so and the changes were completed on ISP side, what are the criteria for some to show 200 vs others showing 150 on clientzone?
I'm not referring to getting the actual speed (yet), it just seems like "I have not been invited to the party"

I am getting a bit fed up at the lack of response/support here....

Looking at all the issues, and down time experienced on fiber here and elswhere, wondering if it might not be a better option to stay with RAIN 5G. When they finish putting fiber in by us. They started digging up the pavements and buggering up the paving bad. Is what it is.

You will always have a better experience with fiber, there is just more bandwidth to work with.

With customer base of 400K odd, the size of the thread shows there are more customers running smooth than not.

No idiots putting a backactor thru the pavement, and taking 10 days to get it fixed, cause they broke everything, water electricity, sewrage, telephones and fiber.

Yes fiber is consistent, and runs well, just that it seems outages take forever to get fixed.

My RAIN 5G might give me 600Mbps, in the morning, and 120Mbps in the evenings ... , but have not had more than 4 hours without internet, on 2 occasions.

I guess it all depends on who is the fibre from. If frogfail or octofail then I would stay on 5G.

I am with Vumatel and they have *touch wood* only been down like 3 or 4 times in 4/5 years and every outage wasn't longer than 30 minutes highly depends on fibre provider and area.. Most of my outages were like 5 to 10 minutes max
