A bit of a joke TBH, contacted support and was told it would take up to 13 November for the upgrades to be implemented. ZOOM make big promises just like Ramaphosa but fail to deliver...
It has started, for existing clients, it may take 4 to 6 weeks.
You do not have to request any package changes for clientzone, these will be backend changes unless communicated otherwise.
.....They did say it may take 4 to 6 weeks to finalized... prob between ISP and the fibre provider

I'm honestly surprised there has been almost no posts about the speed upgrades, usually when upgrades happens there's someone at 00:01 that posts my speed is still the same has anyone been upgraded yet.
ZoomFibre / Afrihost here.

Got my free upgrade to 1000/500Mbps here.

Wasn't fussed how long because Afrihost is kind enough to not charge more so I can't fault anyone if it takes long. They just saved us from making a downgrade this month :D :notworthy: .

Hi.
We have completed the changes on our end. We are waiting for the FNO to complete the processes from their side.

Every month I have the problem of slow download and upload speed and have to contact support. What is causing this monthly repeat problem?

Details, details, details...

- Who is your fibre provider (not isp)?
- What is your speed meant to be?
- What area are you in?
- Have you tested with a LAN cable directly to the ONT and your PC/Laptop?

Vuma
200Mbps 200Mbps
Vuma Aerial
Yes testing LAN to ONT makes no difference

My slow speed problem is fixed until next month

I assume Afrihost resets something to fix the speed but why is it not automatically reset before the slow download and upload speed problem starts again?

Not sure how Afrihost is supposed to predict when your slows speeds are going to happen, don't think they are fortune tellers

Hello.

MFN is investigating the issues further. As soon as an update is received, I will notify you.
Any findings yet?

I am unable to view the ticket you logged on my profile, should I create my own one?

constantly losing WAN connection and great packet loss since this afternoon.
can't play any online games as the servers kick me.
WAN doesn't stay online for more than 10-15 minutes.

Anyone else experiencing this today?
