Hi there. I am getting 60/30 on my 1000/500 line, looks like traffic shaping to me. I did the whole dance of plugging laptop directly into ONT, switching off equipment for 5m, etc.
This has been going on since Monday, maybe even Sunday evening.
frogfoot ticket: 1568219 has been open for 24h now with no further feedback. Could you potentially escalate with them?

We have implemented a fix. Please let us know if you are still experiencing an issue tonight.
I'm looking into this query and I saw you speedtests are capped at exactly 67.68Mbps download and 35Mbps upload. I see the host name your router is sending us is just Router
Are you sure that there is no rate limit set on the router? Does connecting directly to the ONT make any difference in speed and have you tried to test on multiple devices like phones and another laptop/desktop?
FrogFoot enabled MAc forced forwarding for you to clear the traffic up. Please can you check if the traffic is gone now?

Hi, yeah, I have tried connecting my laptop directly into the ONT while disconnecting everything else. I am sure that I don't have any QoS set up on the OPNSENSE box, unless someone guessed my ridiculous password and did it for me.

@AfriNatic In desperation yesterday I also installed the ookla cli app straight onto the opnsense box. This should bypass the gateway altogether. I will pm you a session i will do just now where i traceroute to google and do the speedtest if that helps. The "shaper" section in the firewall and all of its subsections are empty.
The only esoteric thing I've done (last night much later than where my problems started) was to enable IPV6 for my guest vlan _only_.
If this were a self-imposed shaping I also think my jitter would [edit: not] go so high when doing a speed test (see incoming pm). I could be wrong, I am still learning how to do networking like a pro

@AfriNatic So even with my line being dead (not getting any IP Address from DHCP Client) I can still see traffic from someone else's line
Did you manage to do a reboot both ONT and router?
No, I have not done this yet. But for the sake of "Turning it off and on again" I'll go and reboot the ONT
Okay, rebooted both ONT and my Mikrotik router, still no go on DHCP IP address.
And still getting traffic on WAN port
@AfriNatic Anything else need checking before you call up Frogfoot to fix whatever they broke? Have for the time being connected to my neighbours wifi, but I need this sorted for my work day tomorrow morning
