The ont lights are not amber anymore.
2 of the 3, the bottom 2, are white..
I restarted everything last night.
I will do it again now and let you know after 10 mins.

The service and broadband light should be green.

The activity indicator on the ont started flashing now. After the restart it was still not working. I plugged from the ont directly into my pc, and had connectivity. Back into the router I had connectivity for a min or two. Back into the pc, I was promted to activate the service, after which the notification stated that another device was removed.

Back to the router, no luck.

Looks like the router could be playing a part in this.

To confirm, the internet is working through the pc.

Thank you for the swift assistance, much appreciated.

Hi.

Did you manage?

Hi There, I see Afrihost offers static IP's on Openserve for R60 per month. But this doesn't allow any inbound traffic to access anything behind the IP?

Do you have an alternative for a static IP on openserve to access internal services?

Vaalpens

Hi.

Have you tried using our build in DDNS?

I use the built in DDNS (ie iamnoone.ip.afrihost.co.za if the username is [email protected]) to remotely access my Jellyfin server at home. The only issue I had with access was due to the need to set up my port forwarding to map the port to the static IP set up on my server.

Affirmative! Is there any issue with them lately in Durbs?
We have sent an escalation to Openserve to check, we've received complaints this morning for KZN clients having limited connection on their lines.

How often does Openserve do the free speed upgrades on their fibre packages?

Hi,

Could someone assist me in expediting my activation with Vumatel/Afrihost(OVC-300924-00804140)? My MFN service was supposed to be disconnected at midnight, but they cut me off this morning.

I’ve already raised the issue with @Afrigirl, but they mentioned it could take 24-72 hours to resolve. I'd really appreciate getting back online sooner.

Thanks in advance!

Something up with Afrihost today? Twitter images won’t load, YouTube takes a while to start up.
This is in JHB, Vuma Trenched

Edit : Xbox downloads don't seem to be working either
