Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

Latency is spiking quite a bit here in PE when playing on Valorant locally

Activated my fibre line whilst on the WhatsApp chat support and did so whilst directly connected to ONT with my PC. I'm now getting the attached screenshot. I see @Afrigirl commented that this can happen here:

log into http://tplinkwifi.net/ and make sure the internet settings are set to DHCP and not PPPoE with the afrihost guest account.

Yeah it's a fastly issue that I have been moaning about to them but they just say no issues.

i would suggest pausing it. wait a few minutes then resume and see if you switch to our cache or the liquid telecoms cdn
 
Evening gents,

I'm trying to help out my cousin that is in Edgemead in Western Cape on your service. She remote works for a UK company and needs to access these URLS but is getting blocked.

I was able to work around the first two with CloudFlare Warp, but Ticketweb.uk just gives a blank screen. I am getting the same on my IP also WC (not sure if AH does regional IP's on vuma)

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. She did reach out to the sites and was basically fobbed off and told it was her ISP at fault.

She is on 102.182.245.x range and I am on 165.73.103.x

Happy to do any testing needed.

Tried my side.

Ticketmaster works but the other two don't. Gives error about to many attempts.
 
Hi All

Anyone experiencing intermittent disconnection issues with Metrofibre/Afrihost in Pretoria East (Moreleta Park) - its extremely bad today. Here is my log for today only: Basically cant do anyting
