Hi Grant
Hi dmostert.@Afrigirl Whatsapp support does not know about the 1GBS upgrade!
Hi @AfriGuy,Hi Grant
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I am really sorry about the conection issues you are having on your 120mbps line. Let me help you. Can you please send me some screenshots of speedtests done via LAN cable so that I can log a fault for you with the Frogfoot maintenance team.
100% my speeds are fine whether it is cabled or Wi-Fi, Youtube will struggle. I also seem to have issues with Disney+ since I signed up recently.Hi @AfriGuy,
So not sure logging any tickets with Frogfoot would help, as I do not have a general speed issue. Below was tested via WiFi (as I don't have a mean to test with cable. Macbook)

The issue has been YouTube, and I'm sure, there is plenty of evidence on this forum of other also complaining about YouTube buffering - yet raw speed throughput is not the issue.
I will for the next few days start to look at possible browser related issues, but I don't think it's the cause, as at times, when YouTube barely wants to stream 1080p, switching to Firefox from Arc, doesn't make things any better.
Not sure if I missed the memo, but no longer have usage tracking working anymore on Frogfoot?

YouTube seems particularly bad this morning. Constant buffering, and I'm often receiving the following message when trying to access the site or different videos. FNO is Openserve.View attachment 1930435
Still no 1Gbps fibre? Why not? wat's taking so long for the service? other ISP's have launched it already... Why is Afrihost busy sleeping??Hi dmostert.
Yes our whatsapp support team is aware of the upgrade, internal comms were sent to all teams.
Is there anything I can help with?

That Ipv6 IP is not from Afrihost. It's an oracle IP so you are likely using a VPN?
Thanks for your response and attachment Grant. Got it, I see the speed-test results are on point so you're right throughput is not the issue.Hi @AfriGuy,

Hi William. I am really sorry to hear that, If your speedtest results are fine and eveything else works as well I suspect it's an IP issue. Let's see if we can't fix it. Can you please try to switch off ipv6 on your router settings so that your connection is only running ipv4.100% my speeds are fine whether it is cabled or Wi-Fi, Youtube will struggle. I also seem to have issues with Disney+ since I signed up recently.
