Any feedback on the connection drops it keeps happening , just happened again asked @Afrigirl and no response

Most notably it’s when we stream Dstv now the entire connection drops across WiFi or Ethernet and you can’t ping anything local like Google or Facebook

Using Afrihost DNS on the router

The drop always lasts for 30 seconds to a minute so can’t get a PingPlotter done in time and is quite unpredictable happens evening night and daytime randomly

@AfriNatic , this what shows up on the WiFiman app on my phone

Anything resolving locally dies as you can see Twitter still pings

2 hours into 4 hour loadshedding Openserve goes bye bye. Never happened before.. Like clockwork.. Ont goes Red LOS. What is going on? Monument Park area.
 
Tip. Install the Openserve App. Quite handy (seems they test it from their side as well)

Evening

My ONT power light stays red and the Lan light flashes green and goes off repeatedly. Any idea what this is?

Stage 5 now, but got a 4 hour slot. After 2 hours.. Red flashing LOS light again @Africagirl .logged similar on Saturday. Please investigate urgently with Openserve (issue their side). My current ticket.

Most likely generator can't handle more than 2 hours at a time, which you could struggle with getting resolved, hope you can get it sorted or loadshedding stages lowered

Are any of these reps around to assist. I am being taken for a fool by the whatsapp agents. They don't know what they are talking about. They want me to test different network cables while the PON and AUTH lights are off on the ONT.

Also, they cleared the fault without the issue being resolved.
