Was wondering ... obviously I'm going to cancel the OS line this month, but if something should happen to the FF line, how quick will it be to reactivate the OS line ? I mean, all the hardware is in place...line, ONT, router, etc.
Maybe if one of @AfriGuy @AfriNatic @AfriFella (or all if you want to) can respond ?

@AfriMan can you please assist few the past few nights my connection drops or the download speed bottoms out. Your WhatsApp support is nonexistent and your telephone lines are closed. Basically no support.
Hey @jdido87 I am sorry that you have been experiencing connectivity issues. I understand how frustrating this can be. Please drop me a PM with your clientzone username so I can have a look.

Hey @rambo919
Can you confirm if you received the upgrade?
Nothing on the line yet, I don't wanna keep restarting my router like a madman.

No email from afrihost yet, in clientzone there has been no change to either my billing or package.

No change on any front yet.

Ok I understand. You won't receive an email from us confirming the upgrade and your package will not change in clientzone. To find out if your upgrade was processed, you can perform a speed test on http://speedtest.mybroadband.co.za/ using a LAN connection and post your results.

@Gian, can you please assist. I logged my internet (TT Connect) line Friday pm. After my 4th call now .... last call went like this...at first I'm told my call is only 2 days old they can take up to 5 days. This morning I'm told it's just a software issue TT connect has to sort... shouldn't be more than 90mins.

I'm a registered essential service provider... PPE...health and safety services and right now we're working with companies to prepare for their staff to return....I CAN'T because my case is not considered to be that important for your agents who are stranded with only "calling through laptop" and can't even give supervisor's number.....he calls TT connect... just like the previous 3 when there was no answer....I tell him that but I must hold on....

I am also advising DTI and Department of Health that it's not that we do not want to assist in these services... WE CAN'T!!!!! I am a small company who by definition of BBBEE law, does not qualify for assistance so I work through all hours to get my work done

Please assist. My husband's been urging me to move away from you both and if it wasn't for the pain of moving my domain I would in a Flash, but I think the time has come after 4yrs. Sad indeed.

Alright I see the issue now. All the fibre lines should be upgraded already but there has been a delay on ADSL. The engineers are working around the ADSL constraints i.e network and distance limitations. There is no ETA but it should be resolved this week.

btw can you confirm whether there will be any change in billing in either direction?

Hey Linric, I understand that your experience with us has been poor and I am so sorry about that. It takes our fibre providers about 2 working days to resolve a fault in general. Please drop me a Pm with your clientzone username so I can look into this.

So AH support replied to me with this when I asked if I was going to get my upgrade to 100/50 after I had downgraded from 100/50 to 40/20...

Only active services as at 22 April 2020 will qualify for the free upgrade.
We will provide clients with a list of the services that are to be upgraded. These lists will be provided by Friday 24 April 2020.
All new orders processed after the lists have been compiled (New Provide, Receive Ownership, Regrade, Transfer) will be processed at the ordered speed.
All upgraded services will be restored to the original speeds, as per the list after a period of 3 months.

Had my downgrade queued since before 22 Apr, not sure where this list is that was meant to come on 24 April. I assume he's trying to tell me I don't get the upgrade because I was changing packages.

And just as quickly as the upgrade came, it's gone... Now I can't even get the speeds I signed up for
