MyBroadband Speed Test

Speed test result: Latency: 10ms | Download: 20.91Mbps | Upload: 21.11Mbps | Provider: Air Mobile

Fibre went live earlier this week. Very consistent I'm loving it, as well as the extra Mbps I'm getting hahah

Technicians notified of the possible outage.

Which line speed are you on? You should be able to see the promotion speeds in clientzone.

Hi,

Xbox content is served from Microsoft which we peer with in JHB and CPT. It's quite close unless Microsoft pulls their prefixes or serves content from international servers it should still be pretty good.

Steam is served from our on-network Akamai caches.

I do peak around 300Mbps but even cabled I can't get it consistent :/

Google says its a common Xbox thing :crying:

Yeah I must say that on my 1Gbps line on the Xbox one s I have a similar experience. I can max the line on pretty much anything but on xbox it varies anything from 50Mbps to 350Mbps. Ironically downloads on the xbox app on pc actually get close to line speed.

I checked our cache servers and traffic is a bit tight but we have it configured to pull from other regions and traffic directly from Google in JHB while we wait for more cache servers to arrive from the USA.

What are your stats for nerds looking like?

Same for me buffering quite a bit on YouTube

Jumping between 1440p and 4K on a 100mb line also sometimes drops to 480p

Stats for nerds say 20100kbps drops to about 10-15mbps as well

Should be Much higher considering it’s cabled to the router

Hi

No change on flashing green. Should I log a ticket?

Paid speed 100, clientzone showing 100. Promo speed 200.

Not seeing anything network-wise that could be causing the issue. I have tested from different locations and get good throughput.

Are you seeing issues to other services or on YT?
