Yeah me too...

We are still working with Vumatel to resolve the issue of clients only receiving 50% of their line speeds. The issue is also affecting clients on lower speeds tiers making it seem as if Vumatel has reverted the double speed promo. We hope to have this issue resolved soon.

I have 50mbps line still running at double speed (100).

If I upgrade now, does it qualify for 'August free' promo.

Unfortunately the free upgrade for August promotion has already passed. Clients were asked to click through a link in the email sent by Gian and submit the upgrade before the 17th.

Please note that the issue with Vumatel and Frogfoot speeds being halved has now been resolved. We are focusing on individual cases still affected by this issue.

HI
Please check my account as I'm not getting my full speeds. I joined in May 2020 and took a 200mb line via Frogfoot and has been loving the doubling of speeds to 500mb up until today. I have rebooted twice but without success. Acc Nr : A16528491

Hi,

We have found an rectified a hardware issue that caused some clients to receive half their line speeds.

Can you connect directly to the ONT and run a few speedtest to confirm the speed?

Your line still shows the upgraded speed.

I will do so but will send it through in the morning as the household is very busy on the internet now

Quick question to anyone on Vuma with a Raycore CPE, what colour is the LAN 1 light meant to be? In normal networking Amber is 100Mb/s and Green is 1000Mb/s

The only colours i see from top to bottom is, Blue, amber and amber.

You should be able to see in you WAN router what is the port speed of the WAN port is. Force change it to 100Mbps and restart and see what colour the CPE shows on LAN1.

Funny enough, my TP-Link has no such settings or status.

You can drop me a pm with your clientzone email let me see what Vumatel shows is connected and at what speed to the CPE.

Thanks but i actually thought for a second and connected my laptop to it and fiddled with the link speed.

Apparently:

Amber is Gigabit
Green is 100Megabit or FastEthernet
Red is 10Megabit

I'll call Vuma and query this.

We are aware of clients on FrogFoot in CPT that are unable to get an IP from our DHCP server. We are working closely with FrogFoot on a solution. We apologise for the downtime experienced.

Still same error. What are chances of getting it fixed

Can you please drop me a pm with your clientzone email address.

We are working with FrogFoot to have all the affected clients pushed onto a new vlan. This is a time consuming process but we will have everyone online soon.

Switched to backup SIM now from my usual Fibre....
