It's normal if it's under load. It could also mean DNS issues. are you using the Afrihost default DNS servers or not?Hi all.
Just wanted to inquire if the responsiveness in the speedtest app is normal?
I’m not experiencing issues but just curious.

I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused during this period, how is the connection now?I would actually like to know the same thing. I got home last night to a lovely red dot on my router, logged in and saw the following issue:

Sigh. If it's not connectivity issues then it's terrible latency issues while trying to play Dota 2.![]()
Morning, it is 12V for the ONT as well.

Hi, please send me a PM with your account detailsInternet was working but I still experience weird lag spikes in Dota 2 despite my latency being low at ±10ms.
Trying to sort this out for family as well but the support agent doesn’t seem to have any clue what I’m talking about.Hi
We sent a mail to legacy 20Mbps clients that the promo speed for them is coming to an end. These clients can upgrade to the 50/50 permanent offering for just R2 more than what they used to pay or leave it as is and revert back to the 20/10 package at R649.
If you want to keep the 50/50 you can submit the upgrade in ClientZone or by clicking the link in the mailer for the change to be actioned or leave it as is and the price will drop to R649
Hi, yes you may send. We are working with our Branding and Fibre Ops Team to track all comms regarding the double-speed promo.Trying to sort this out for family as well but the support agent doesn’t seem to have any clue what I’m talking about.
Worse, they’re behaving as if I’m the problem, or that’s the impression I get.
@Afrigirl can I PM you too? Support has stopped responding to my emails![]()
Hey Afripeeps... Any news in the pipeline of Frogfoot price decreases or speed increases? They seem late to the party and Openserve have better structured packages.
What I really want is 1 Gbps on OS. You can have 1 Gbps on FF for a very good price alreadyHey Afripeeps... Any news in the pipeline of Frogfoot price decreases or speed increases? They seem late to the party and Openserve have better structured packages.
Our "legacy" clients (8/2 or 10/2 Mbps), who have been on 20/10 Mbps with a customised price of R649 will remain on that price for 20/10mbps and yes they may upgrade to 50/50 for R729.@AfriNatic
@Afrigirl has explained to me that by “legacy 20Mbps” you mean clients that were previously paying R727 for 20Mbps , I think some of us were confused because there are “legacy” users who were previously on a 10Mbps line who were moved to a 20Mbps line and were paying ~R650 since before the new pricing.
So these were not the legacy users you were referring to who could upgrade to 50Mbps for R2? Are those legacy(?) users eligible for the promotion as well or not?
