Hi

We sent a mail to legacy 20Mbps clients that the promo speed for them is coming to an end. These clients can upgrade to the 50/50 permanent offering for just R2 more than what they used to pay or leave it as is and revert back to the 20/10 package at R649.

If you want to keep the 50/50 you can submit the upgrade in ClientZone or by clicking the link in the mailer for the change to be actioned or leave it as is and the price will drop to R649
@AfriNatic I'm a 20mbps client and I haven't seen this email. Please advise

I didn't get the notification email either.

Anyway, after speaking to their support (who couldn't explain why I was charged R727 this month for 20/10 instead of R649) it seems Afrihost isn't participating in the double speed promo anymore which contradicts what was said in this article: https://mybroadband.co.za/news/fibr...ibre-prices-and-launches-500mbps-package.html

Those on Vumatel 20/10Mbps packages will be upgraded to 50/50Mbps, those on 50/50Mbps will be upgraded to 100/100Mbps, and so on.

The promotion was initially set to expire on 31 August 2022 but has since been extended to 31 January 2023.

I upgraded to the 50/50 package and got 50/50. No 100/100 upgrade promo.

I see Vox still has the promo specified on their packages - including 20/10 - > 50/50

Anyone else experiencing internet connectivity issues today? Everything is buffering and speed test is horrendous. What’s happening?

@AfriNatic I too have not received such an email and I am also a 20/10 client. I paid R727 at the start of September and my speed is currently 20/20 as of last week. Can you please assist?
Hi, please send me a pm with your account details.

Random question, how long does MFN usually take to activate a line. Got router this morning, installation was done by 10am, now staring at that "Service" light like this

We can mail the MFN activation team to do the activation for you.

Just dm me and @Afrigirl your email linked to the order and your fsan number from the ONT that was installed.

Same on my side - no email and back to the old speeds. Noticed it a few days ago but thought it was just a temporary glitch.

I'll send a PM shortly.

Please update the thread if you get a resolution :)

Doesn't look like anyone got the supposed email.

Hi @AfriNatic

I just wanted to inquire if you could look at my speed test results and just confirm with me that these results are normal.

I’m not having any issues as such but I just wanted to inquire
