Mmm my traffic (100 Pure) seems to be throttled/managed today.

I thought Pure was not throttled/managed? Currently getting slower than dialup.

100/50 to Coreix...

So far not a single issue... been perfect so far.. only latency that is a touch higher than it was on CISP

It seems afrihost has a problem with that 80.249.208.* hop.

I find the same high latency with overwatch on that hop

My son is complaining that latency to the Fortnite servers is much higher than usual. I don't know what it should be, but if the image attached is not normal, can you please investigate. I have watched his screen and it goes as high as 300+ ms at times

Ping should be 160ms. Mine is 129ms from CT

Their ping to London is 140-150ms, (I don't know why it's not stable at 140ms) but as soon as it leaves London it's all over the place to anywhere else in EU, going as high as 200ms. @AfriMan and @AfriFella have said they're looking into it, but it's their upstream provider that needs to optimise so I wouldn't hold your breath. I've been using a VPN to London for more stable pings.

should be 5-10ms to EU from london, not 30ms.

Hi There

Had my Fibre Line and CPE Box installed on the 9th of August by Vumatel 20 Down 20 Up. Everything was working perfectly up until this weekend. Bought an Ethernet cable to run from my Router to my bedroom just for a more stable connection than WiFi, using for PS4 and MacBook depending on what I'm doing.

Ever since doing that at around 5pm every evening I completely lose access to all WiFi connectivity in the room. I should mention that I am connecting to the 2.4Ghz Connectino due to distance from the router to bedroom.

During the day everything is fine and I'm able to stream Netflix, Twitch and watch YouTube videos without any issues on the WiFi but as soon as it gets to 5pm it just completely refuses to connect. I can access simple things like WhatsApp and stuff like that but even then messages take forever to send.

Ran a few speedtests and the highest download I got was just under 3 down and the up was getting to around 0.80 if I was lucky. The strange thing is if I either switch off the device using the Ethernet cable or completely unplug it the problem goes away when it's plugged in I don't even have to be doing a single thing on it and it still gets affected by it. Not sure if that's a legitimate thing but only started happening once connected.

Attached two images of recent speedtests. One from phone and the other from MacBook both sitting right next to each other done one after the other on the same WiFi Connection.

If there is anything else I need to give regarding this problem/issue please let me know and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks might have to look for something else not running Windows at all just Mac and unfortunately they don't offer a Mac version of Acrylic. The other router thing might be a very strong possibility as our old Router is still on and active at the moment. Will test that out soon and see if it sorts anything out

That's concerning, i plan to move to AH next month and international gaming latency is very important to me. I hope they can sort it out eventually.

Try an app called fing network tools it's very powerful it scans for all devices on your network I know it is available for Apple products.
