Afrihost noc team is making contact with Vuma Noc to see what the issue might be but looks like an Aex outage.

We have loaded a notice for now and will update if we get more info

How is MFN in terms of stability in Centurion/PTA East? I'm coming back to AH end of this month, and MFN is a little cheaper than OS. I'm considering doing the installation and getting 500/500 vs the 500/250 I have now on OS.

The thing is OS is rock solid, so not sure if it's worthwhile as I wfh 24/7

Edit: @AfriNatic if I do a MFN install, would it be possible to hold off activation until last day of month? (Even if install happens earlier)
 
My Openserve fibre went down at almost exactly midnight. No PPPoE connection. Pretoria.
EDIT: At some point in the night it came back online.

@AfriNatic can you perhaps confirm around activation for me when you have a moment, think I want to give MFN a try.

Hi,

Sorry missed your mention.

Once the line is ordered and installed activation happens automatically.

It's better to schedule an install date closer to the date you wish to have the line activated as activation after install can not be scheduled.

We add these notices to our notice page under maintenance and SMS clients about it. We might have missed this as we don't always get email confirmation from the FNO's of scheduled maintenance of changes.
 
Been pretty good in OCT/CPT recently, surprising consider the Octopus of Octotel's network, lol.
I've not even had any issues with GDrive or Google Services recently, which is lekker.

Since I post when its always bad, thought I should be useful and post for once when things are good :P
 
Deep south in Cape Town - hopefully not a long term thing, but since about an hour ago, connection very unstable, up down up down..
