afrihost trouble....

Quasimodo, you'll find most of us on here are already aware of the "verification" process. We all made a plan to get them a copy of our ID. You need to stick close to MyBB, you'll learn it all.

The view seems to be that it could have something to do with the RICA.

Again, false alarm. Afrihost STILL is the best.
 
i am wondering cause they suspended my account because my debit order bounced, but they only did the debit order last night and i ordered on thursday.

Then they sent me an email saying i have 72hours to pay the money in so i was going to do it tomorrow i just don't have money on my card right now.
 
their payment method isnt something to be "ashamed of" =/

altho i do feel they should provide more options

Not the payment method itself, but the fact that no warning is given that a copy of your ID is required before you can use the bandwidth, even for once-off purchases paid for by credit card.

I have since received a call from Afrihost and eveything is sorted for now. Waiting an hour isn't ideal but is acceptable under the circumstances.

Ha ha damn some people have high standards! One hour on a Sunday is exceptional! Ideal would be having the CEO sitting next to you in your study sorting out your issue but this is the real world!

Let me get this right? You spent the funds you thought you had reserved to pay for Afrihost? And you did this without checking why you had this unexpected surplus? And it didn't occur to you that a brand new service that you have only just signed up for might not have debited on the exact day you happened to think that they would?

Perder don't you get sms'es when money goes in/out of your bank account?

you certainly can't blame an isp, if you spent that money before the transaction went through..
 
a debit order gets no sms's...

and my mom did some transactions on the card so i didn't realise that there wasn't money.

It was my fault yeah but they specifically stated in a email this morning that i have 72 hours to pay the amount otherwise they will suspend my account.
 
Had some questions, and said some things about Afrihost, but i will admit when wrong,
29/gig, halve what i paid for,

Just keep it like that
