Sorry you feel that way. We still feel that, if shaping has to happen, we'd rather provide a slow download and give you a good real-time experience as useable internet rather than throttle you. We believe that is the best experience for all clients in general.
You can also turbocharge at any time if you need that download to run at full speed![]()
Now this response irritates the hell out of me. I don't surf a lot. I do a bit of gaming. So realtime service mean very little to me. HTTP download does mean a lot. Phone updates, PC updates, game downloads, addon and mod downloads. So I have to pay again to use my line and account for what I use it for. That's not right. Then honestly the home uncapped should be branded as a realtime service with downloads restricted. Which it is at the moment.
Now I've got an honest question. If I move to business uncapped and end up paying R100 more a month, leaving a very sour taste in my mouth purely for HTTP downloads. What guarantee do I have this won't continue and I'm not wasting my money?
