I am glad Afrihost has seen the light and cut off the lesser provinces like the Cape so the we in JHB may have perfect internet.

Anyone in the Southern region (Cape Town, surrounds and some of PE) will see higher latency and slow downloads until we have this sorted out.

Add East London to that - downloading at a massive 1.1KB/s on a 1Mbs line and browsing almost impossible.Yup.

If you're in the Cape, it's going to be pretty horrible until they get some of our lost capacity back up. Let's hope the Telkom guys are close to sorting this out![]()
