Afrihost Uncapped ADSL Feedback (Pt2)

Afriman can you guys increase your network capacity before all the schmucks from MWeb come over :D

you know like some IPConnect in PE :D

No! Nonononono!!! Fuk no! Since the move internet experience never reached the level we had when the network was still with IS. Neither speed, nor latency, nor reliability. The whole thing feels kinda wobbly and shaky. So much so I hardly dare pressing keys too hard when gaming since I always fear the big bad "you've been disconected from our servers" message. Already had that experience twice in the last half hour.

Not a happy bunny right now :sick:

PM Afriman, when I PM'ed him he said something along lines of "no one else has bitched!" My words :-) I was complaining about speed from news.afrihost.co.za which is in The Netherlands...............

I am also in CT and I disagree! I had a very bad experience with IS! Things are 10 times better. There are the glitches like Afriman, Afriguy AND Afrigirl all off at the same time! but overall all good

You should check your network settings. Gaming with Afrihost is fine for me.

We're not getting general complaints of poor international speeds, but drop me a PM and we'll take a look at what's happening :(

Your mail storage is included in disk space, as well as web traffic. We only have a limitation on the number of accounts, otherwise you can configure your mail accounts in any way you'd like. You can set them up as unlimited, but once you hit your package disk space limit, the mailboxes will be regarded as full.

Sorry to hear that all 3 of us were unavailable at the same time. That shouldn't happen. Maybe I need to take less holidays :(

I'm not in CT, but one of our social media reps is based in Cape Town and games extensively. He hasn't experienced anything like this on his line. Is it possible that there are other factors? Can you drop me a PM so we can run some more definitive tests?

That is a very liberal interpretation of my comment :)

I also sent you some tests we ran showing full speeds from our side on the news server. We are still checking, but so far we're not seeing any issues at all :(

Ha Ha - the good old try slip IPC in PE sneakily into the conversation :) But I do +1 it! Come on, PE needs some love too ;)
 
Afriman is your mobile data thingy still on track :)? gosh what love if u guys came out with good prices I am already with MTN so not a prob! make things happen faster with your supper powers !
