It still doesn't make a difference in streaming though, which is my main concern. Some of these streaming sites I see I get a max of 500kbps from them, connect to a Axxess 3GB free account or Mweb account the same site and same video pulls 4mbps. So it's not that our lines are to slow, some streaming sites are just throttled I guess because they deliver free content, but again it is a real time service, hmmm.
We don't throttle or block or shape any specific sights, we use packet signatures to determine the nature of the traffic. We may not be shaping the stream, but if there is contention for bandwidth, you may not be able to burst to the occasional spikes you need for high def streaming, which probably results in lag or buffering. Should be sorted when the upgrade goes live.
