Sounds frustrating :(

I think all of this should be sorted when we get our additional IPC.

The same thing is happening with my account. First time in a long while was the other day, now it's quite frequent. Also always 360p.

Hopefully it doesn't go on for much longer. We've got less than a week to wait now, provided 'by the 10th of April' is an accurate time frame.

I was under the impression the whole Gauteng was fine, that only the Cape province suffered, oh well lol. But TBH I see on Mweb at work, on a really good line, there are also small problems regarding browsing and streaming, not as severe as with Afrihost, but they are there.

If people from other ISPs are also reporting the same, perhaps this is a Telkom thing.
 
YouTube currently looking good, that grey bar is buffering ahead like a F1 car. My personal opinion, although it will make this thread much bigger than it already is, is for everyone to post a high once they see it and a low once the network starts to degrade again, then the Afripeeps will more or less know OK it's not just the IPC, but that time most were downloading, streaming etc....

Line speed?

EDIT: I know its the IPC, but it might be that a lower line speed would be affected more due to overhead etc etc. My 10Meg is working well, as it has a lot of leeway when streaming, - however a 4Mbps might not.

Yeah 4mbps, but it's looking better now. :) Note winbox is constantly open for me to make sure my pc is the only one in the house pulling data.

That the problem. Most of the AH execs at 'zer top' have very fast internet and don't know that AH stutters like a boss on YouTube.

Having the same issues on Afrihost Business uncapped. On my free Web Africa there are no issues. It seems to increase on the 3rd hop. In JHB South.
