It looks we are seeing some latency in the South. I've reported this to our team and they are working to see if we can resolve this quickly.

every time and excuse or capacity problem or something never an straight answer you can go and have an look at my tickets then you can see how long i stick it out and everything but i am GATVOL know...

I really do appreciate that you have stuck with us through tough times and I'm really sorry that you're experiencing poor performance right now. I promise we're exploring every long term and short term option to resolve the P2P traffic on the network causing higher contention.

Well i am slowley moving my 11K to another ISP and maybe one day when you are sorted and the best again i will consider coming back
or if its sorted before all the accounts are moved.

I think it will be sorted. Aside from the amount you spend (which is definitely appreciated) we'd hate to lose you as a client. We'll do everything possible to keep you with us :(
 
erm... Why does my 1GB free capped account have 485MB of usage already on it? I have not used it all this month...

If you used your account and exceeded the 1GB limit by a bit, the overage will be deducted from the next months opening allowance

It may have been a previous month's usage which was over allocation. I'd have to check your account to confirm, you can drop me a PM with the deets :)
 
Thing is, that wasn't one of the options and you'll also find that all the answers have a www. and only one will work if you click on the link. Once you accept, you can use that URL to easily access (and explain to others) how to get to clientzone quickly.

No, but Afrihost.com was, which is the top level domain for clientzone.afrihost.com. The problem is, that if I add an exception, the moment I restart my browser, I would have to make an exception again, because my browsers are configured to not retain personal data.

It's much faster just to type in clientzone.afrihost.com, because it's actually featured in your security certificate, whereas clientzone.co.za is not. :(

Totally understand, but like I said, only one of those will direct you to ClientZone, whether or not you have to accept an exception. So in the context of that specific question, there is only one correct answer which will get you closer to the iPad :)

Sure, but what this really amounts to is... Why is clientzone.co.za not listed on the security certificate? :confused:

Do you plan on adding it in the near future?
 
Seems to be some issue with uncapped (or at least with my uncapped account at the moment).

I can't log in to Uplay either.

When I switch to my Capped Afrihost account, then both sites load fine and I can log into Uplay.

Would you be able to test your Uncapped account with a TurboCharge session enabled?

Both sites load again, and I'm able to log into Uplay again. If it happens again, I'll try seeing what turbocharge does.
 
So, Teamspeak not usable when I logged on about 10 minutes ago. Activate Turbocharge and it's fine and smooth.
 
Also getting packet loss on teamspeak. Its definitely the shaping that is causing this. I only get packet loss when the shaping kicks in.

I know that our network team is rolling out some major updates and fixes over the next few days, and we have specifically logged Teamspeak as one of the issues to be addressed. Let's give the guys a chance to push out the changes, and we'll also test on our side to see if this resolves the symptoms reported here.

Ok. Please just let us know when these updates have been implemented so that we can provide feedback.

EDIT: Just so you know, at present the shaping is at 18.8% Download/ 6.25% P2P. Took my 7 Tries to get into the teamspeak server, and after that I got disconnected, cause my packet loss is too high.
