Pretty concerned to read a few people having problems opening browsers and such, Definitely should not be the case, I'm pretty sure bandwidth demand is pretty evenly spread out, so contention is very low (for most of today).

Can anyone experiencing this kind of thing please PM me so we can look into this? Is this area specific, or a general issue? Would really appreciate your guys feedback. If it's gone away, please give me an idea of what time this was happening so I can check with our network guys if there was anything on our side occurring at the time.

Something is definetly up tonight...latency is going crazy..

i basically just gave up last night trying to do anything from around 2100, could manage some browsing but just after 2200, i think the hamster died in its wheel as the net came to a standstill... this was relevant for all isp accounts, so once again it looks like a telkom issue....

I don't know if it is just AH or Telkom, but CPT at the moment is too slow to even load Speedtest. Horrible, just horrible.

AH looks like you getting there, well done.

Test Date: Mar 3, 2013 4:58 PM
Download: 7.33 Mbps
Upload: 0.79 Mbps
Ping: 46 ms

here i thought AH was finally going to come right, guess it's off to web africa I go, cancellation done

I have a webafrica capped acount as bacup, i get the same hickups there too, strangely when i run a test then with the telkom guest account there is no problem, so are telkom/saix fingering the ISP's one can only wonder!

Currently testing an Openweb Gold unshaped account. Get the same erratic issues that I get with AH. Telkom in Cpt is the culprit.

Done that same thing couple of days ago...and the result's the same as yours. So, i didn't pull the trigger.

I think telkom is "working" behind the scenes but have no way to check for sure....
I'm not in the Cape, but sure feel's like it.
International is like a yo-yo.

EDIT/
Scratch that, I've just opened an 2Mbps Gold with them. Will give it a month and see how it goes.
What is a man to do?
