How long does Telkom upgrade take?

It depends on Telkom's resources. Very hard to say. A normal, hassle free upgrade can take between 3 and 5 days. If there are other delays, like tech or port availability, it can take longer.

Port availability? Isn't it a matter of upgrading your account on their system to allow a higher bandwidth?

But but when I have called Telkom (in the past) and done it in the past it took a matter of seconds?

Moving from a 2Mbps (Faster) to 4Mbps (Fastest) ADSL product requires that a tech actually comes out to your exchange and moves you from one DSL Port Card to another. However, if you're on a 4Mbps product and you've been synced at only 2Mbps, that can be done in a few minutes, depending on whether your line can actually achieve the new sync rate.
 
I see it has been upgraded, yay in under 24 hours

AfriMan, I have a question. I just switched over from 4mb Uncapped to the 25GB Silver Capped package. Will this take effect on the 1st of June? Also, will I receive the bonus 25GB promo that's currently running?

Regrades from Uncapped to Capped take effect at month end. The Double Cap promotion runs until at least end of July (and we'll let everyone know what happens from there) so you will get 25GB + 25GB in June & July for sure :)

So I'm safe to download to my heart's content until the 1st of June? :P Since I noticed that the ClientZone is reporting that I'm now on the 25GB Package, but the Data Link is still running on the Uncapped 4MB. (See attached image).

Your product profile changes, so that your next charges are linked to the correct product. The way our system works is that data allocations and charges are linked. So raising charges is dependant on the correct data allocation on the account. You will still be on the existing data link (as the new link for the product you regraded to only comes into effect in the new month)

Has any one mentioned an issue with Spotify? Where it connects and disconnects frequently? Does it on all my devices not only my PC

Haven't seen any general issues being mentioned. Can you drop me a DM and give me an idea what's happening?

For me it goes "offline" every 1 or two songs, while the song is playing it will say it's off line and I have to click around on different songs a few times and then it comes back online again.
