Cancel and move on. They have had enough time to sort this nonsense out but clearly nothing is getting better, its getting worse.

I potentially lost a business deal last night due to my lousy performance, bloody embarrassing. I can't wait to get the hell off this sub grade crap.

Your using a budget ISP account intended for home use for a business ... you deserve to loose more business.

Don't blame the ISP for your cost cutting.

I'm normally easygoing on grammar but if you're going to rip into someone and express a wish that they lose business, then my inner nazi comes out.

Ummm let me explain this nicely, I have a business line at my office yes. I often work from home for which all I need is a decent speed, but when I can't even upload a 1mb file in front of a client, that is piss poor.

O and the client signed today, but thanks for your lovely message. :)

Downloading the 2 gig update for Dota-2 today was painfully slow, running at roughly 30% my line speed (1mbps). In the end I shifted over to a capped account just so I didn't lose my mind. I have to say though the latency in the game was good (+-210ms constant) even the skype call with friends during the games was good so some good points there.

I'm on 4-meg uncapped, and I'm crawling along at 20kbps on my downloads. Its after 11pm... is it still business hours? I will say that my ping in COD was good, but I disconnected a few times.

I agree with many people, Afrihost seems to be getting worse. I really thought that since a lot of subscribers left, that the shaping and throttling would ease up. But it seems to be harsher.

I feel for you guys.. I switch from Plugg (unplugged, soz uncapped) now to Afritoast capped.. and the web is slow..
uploads no problem tho', but the rest is poor. Can only imagine what the uncapped product is like ... eish.

Got Afrihost connection, 4meg uncapped, on the 23rd Jan.

Have been able to acquire about 220Gb in the last week of January, and got about 16Gb out today.

(Downloading my missing games from my steam library)

Downloads run at a mix of 20kb on torrent files, 200kb direct downloads and at night steam runs at 500Kb+ easily.

Wow, My line was down for about three days due to cable theft. It's back up but downloads on torrents or NNTP is very slow. it's at about 1 - 2kB/s.

I said I'll give Afrihost the benefit of the doubt until the 24th of this month. But I guess I'll have to start looking at other options. I really hope AH sorts this out, I'm not in the mood to struggle with this.

Im trying afrihost this month and would prefer them to mweb, simply because afrihost would be more convenient. Hopefully the speeds improve.

one would hope that on a Saturday afternoon the intenational connection would be a whole lot better than during the week but alas latency my sprung from 224ms to a resounding 496 - 835ms...
exchange looks the same today as it does every other day, so not sure where the issue is
