Well I'm running 10 concurrent downloads from hotfile (premium account) and its humming around 250kB/s... So if thats shaped, I'm happy! Thats 5 X faster than my screamer 512 which cost R799... eish

Using the IS Newserver, I max'ed out at 350 KB/s and averaging 300 KB/s.
Downloading a cached item too.

Not a bad speed for during the weekday at 2pm.

I did grab one very popular torrent earlier, but it may have been too new (low seed/perr ratio) because it was going terribly at around 60Kb. Hopefully just the torrent, I'll test more tonight.

I have been bitching about those milking the system since the first reasonably priced uncapped service arrived and have been shot down on each occasion. Good on you Afrihost!

Downloading the same thing now, actually getting full 3.6mb, 440Kb/s. Not bad, except that Nvidia is on an Akami server so it's really local.

There seems so be very little difference between the uncapped and capped accounts in terms of WoW latency, at least on my server ^_^ Happy!
