OK, so after doing a bit of isp and account hopping, it seems Afrihost Capped accounts are far more worth it, than getting an Afrihost Uncapped account. (if you are a light power user with expectations of between 50gb and 100gb bandwidth usage a month)
Uncapped 4096@ R 497
Unshaped Power 50GB(+50gb) @ R950

with the power 50gb, you get another 50gb for free, where with the uncapped, you have a surprise account, where u can get throttled anything from 30gb, 60gb , oh no wait, 3rd email from the CEO says 50gb now.

on the uncapped you cant watch HD YouTube in the day without constant buffering, and you can forget about gaming with under 500ms latency to international servers.
*edit* oh, and if you go over the surprise threshold, 30gb,60gb or 50gb (afrihost themselves aren't even sure) then u get put into the 'badboy abuse user pool' which should give you speeds equivalent to a 512kbps connection, in stead, its so overcrowded in there, if u get 5KB/s you are considered lucky.

the capped account is unshaped, (220ms latency in some mmo's on EU servers)
5 concurrent sessions, which means you can share the costs between up to 5 people.
it will even run at full line speed if you have 10mbps etc.
and you will know exactly what to expect from your account, no hidden surprises.

I'm understanding the power plan accounts is 20GB + 20GB = 40GB international cap?? not local cap for 2nd 20GB?? Yeah is noob question.. I'm thinking of upgrading my 5GB account to that, cause with all my topups I use more than R380 a month allready. 4MB eats up cap sooo fast. I would prefer to stay with Afrihost and uncapped is not that great yet in South Africa.

My 10 cents ... having a blast on Afrhost uncapped at moment despite of a Seacom intermittent outages.
