Just like everybody said when they moved from IS to MTN data, I remember a lot of "omg I'm jumping ship..." - and look, we're all still here (and some of us back) at Afrihost. Just saying "omg the world is ending" seems to happen a LOT on these forums lately.

seems a strange day for values being assigned to Internet companies: Naspers appearing the Economist (granted a blog) as outpacing MTN Group (based in SA and not appearing on the list at all, nor does Vodacom) as SA's largest "internet company".
Telkom is a charging bull and an ISP is valued at a billion rand (which would put it in the top 3 of said blog post)


However if awesomess could be monetized be would be in the same territory of money as an evil genius (or not so genius) holding the moon ransom. Afrihost would be able to get a money vault for Afriman to swim in.
