Do u even understand the role of quotas in varsity or not?

My experience is that where not enough people pass marks are 'adjusted' upwards for all to accommodate the quotas. Got me a distinction I did not deserve.

This happens all over the world. If you have enough students taking an exam to take statistically significant data from and you have way too many people failing then clearly the exam was too difficult, and the marks are amended.

Of course some lecturers have no problem failing 70% of the class so it varies.

Still could work out in your favour depending on how you did on the rest of the paper.

No it's not, you are already getting the benefit of needing lower entry marks as opposed to an Afrikaans student. Not marginally less, a simple pass gets you entry into the medical faculty. So you already get the benefit of having to study in a second language as opposed to a first language. Now toughen up my dear child, life is not going to be kind on you. Life is only going to get worse once you exit the work place and it's got nothing to do about race or language. Competition for employment is extremely high. Your petty gripe with Afrikaans is a none issue tbh.

I have no issue with quotas, did I say quotas?
I was talking about entry requirements. WTF does that have to do with Quotas, are you saying a straight A student is only in Varsity because of his skin colour and not because of him working his arse off to get marks I can only dream of? You really are showing us the reason low entry marks does nothing for our economy :o

Seeing as only 15 percent of the country speaks English as a first language why exactly does English get a free pass? If Afrikaans is to white of a language, English most assuredly is also. Let us not kid ourselves the language is but a false pretense for what is in reality an anti Afrikaner, racist mentality.

It is the same thing in essence what most muslims feels about the Jews. They don't acknowledge the Jews right to exist. There exist a real segment of our society that don't acknowledge Afrikaners right to be called South Africans and aims to remove them from all segments of society.

This is just the same type of purging that happened in the 40's at the University of Heidelberg... A real bad omen then.

Wrong. U need at bare minimum b+ in maths science and biologyfor medical school. But it serves bigots like you to believe some of us made it by getting 50% . Nice try though

Maybe you weren't aware but English is universal. Afrikaans is not
