Afrikaans question papers in UFS.

The reality is they not going to let the question count, then just adjust the paper based on that. Heck they probably noticed the error during writing and told the learners to skip it, if not than that's the only news.

The fact that you don't even see what you just did makes me cringe inside. Call me all you like, I'm done with varsity, and living the real life. Wish I could keep myself up with petty issues all day long. Guess that's what your generation of freeloaders are all about. Nothing but self pity and asking for handouts. U can feel free to reference university of your choice but requirements for degrees are all equal. What's different though is quotas. NOT BASIC REQUIREMENTS. Tell me to check for you if you didn't know and too lazy to check
 
it's not about black or white, it's about tribes. like the xhosa zulu tribes are not getting along, so are the afrikaans and english - it's tribal - nothing to do about skin color

Uhm. No. That's just plain wrong. I attended UCT. They use a points system based on your marks . Whites need the highest number of points to get in to a degree. Then Indians. Then coloureds then blacks. And the points requirements are vastly different.

BTW. Mistakes happen. In our final exam for first year we had to draw a certain circuit from memory in one question. When we went to answer it it was already drawn in the answer block. Lecturer just said "oops ignore that question".

EG:

To stand a “realistic chance” of studying medicine, White students needed:
90% in five matric subjects
80% in one matric subject
80% in a benchmark test

Indian students needed:
90% in four matric subjects
80% in two matric subjects
80% in a benchmark test

Coloured pupils needed 80% in four subjects, 70% in two subjects, and 53% in a benchmark test.

Black students needed between 70-79% in six subjects, and 50% in the benchmark test.

Thats just to get in... actually getting degree, probably same thing, certain races have different requirements

Let me repeat what I said, mind you there are a lot of variables in selecting someone to study a certain degree but no one I'd going to study mbchb in south african university in this era with 70% avarage from high school. Basic requirementsshould be met and then your race and other factors can be considered.

Your article is about realistic chances not basic requirements. Go check ukzn prospectus for that
