not all atheists are arrogant, but cant say the same for theist who believe that their religion is more superior then others, maybe you should take another look at who you say have nasty and disgusting habits.

Lol, no not all atheists are arrogant but neither is all theists (which you seem to want to say:p:D). Both "sides" have idiots, arrogant people, murderers and rapists.

I was thinking more along the lines of being proud to be alive, having children that also has children, experiencing unconditional love.....not being told right from the word go that you are an unworthy sinner and the only reason that you don't get hit by a bus on your way home is because you have a merciful and loving god that allows you this living experience.

I actually agree with you.. those are worthy and noble things to live for.

Despite being a Christian, I am also an insane optimist and think all people should strive for the noble ideals in life regardless of their religious beliefs and affiliations.

But even more so... if Christians really believed what they were taught.. you are right... they should be a very different breed.

Buffet and Gates alone have given more than half their wealth. Gates has his own charity, and many others have also done wonderful things. Imagine the world without computers, or so many other things thanks to their investment skills.

Even while they do great things if they didn't care at all, they'll still give so much time and money.

I'm an atheist (fairly outspoken one actually) and I think this whole bus idea is kinda lame.

I've been careful not to let on what my position is.
 
This is a lame idea to the extreme. Imagine if there were Christian symbols saying "God is our Saviour" on the buses...I can just imagine the outrage by atheists. But now because atheism is the 'new black', it seems fashionable to continue this through hypocrisy (as Gary pointed out). You can't say Christians should stop preaching and then preach atheism.
