Ouch,

When using Shelly, always ensure that DC polarity is correct,
Positive = N(+) terminal,
Negative = L(-) terminal.

Mine was Live - L and Neutral to N.
seems to be working fine. Should I jump into the roof and change them??

Anyone know what would cause a Shelly 1 to randomly cycle power? Sometimes on, sometimes off... Factory reset, and it's still doing the same.

Cant say I have seen that on any of my shelly1s

Have seen it on 1 of my shelly dimmers...but turned out to be funny automations I have in Home Assistant.

Oh and also when ShellyForHass didn't support the latest firmware yet, it was madness then.

Thats why I did a complete factory reset - thought it might by HA... but - now its disconnected, and still doing the same... seems really random as well

How did you integrate it initially into HA? With ShellyForHass or even the new HA 0.115 shelly integrations, they are auto detected even if you factory reset. Thats why I love Shelly, I connect it to the wifi and boom its in HA. Unless you mean you even left it off the wifi then I understand it sounds like an issue.

Check the wiring maybe for the switch is not loose, and maybe even that physical switch could be somehow defective. (I know, makes no sense). Usually this is loose contacts or bad wiring and just redoing it might fix it. Also test it outside standalone, meaning, wire to power it and lets say out to a lamp.

Think its fried somehow - its been fine for over a year, and now suddenly its all over the show. Will check the wiring, but doubt its that - the switch isn't used anymore.

Need to order a dimmer and PM anyways, so will check if there's stock and add a 1.
