All things Shelly

Hi @ Tinuva,
Will ask someone in sales to get in contact with you.

2.5 and Dimmer 2 are in stock.

Shelly SA
Thank you. They sent me videos on how useful these are, kinda know that already haha.

So had to ask again if in stock and prices. I know last time I asked you didn't have stock.

No worries @ Tinuva.

I'm sure the guys at the office can help you further

I'm replacing my Sonoff with Shelly.

But I'm confused as to where the wires go in simple cases (ie a lamp) ? The Sonoff only had Input L/N and Output L/N ... so it was fairly basic.

Using the Shelly Button makes things much easer, as I'm left the same as the Sonoff ( Input L/N and Output L/N) - so connecting a lamp / heater etc was easier

Bridge SW and I

And the red for the light goes to O and the black need to join neutral somewhere

Trying to make my intercom button press smart (for smartphone notifications) by connecting a Shelly 1

The intercom systems are KCOM devices model KIV102, I have 2 indoor units and 2 Camera outdoor units as below. Wiring for these devices look something like this (taken from http://www.securitex.com.sg/Securit...hone/KIV-102-KIV-D102/KIV-102_D102_manual.pdf):

Any idea where to tap into to get the activation when a button is pressed on the outside units? I'm not 100% sure but I think the door opener wiring is for the gate and not the trigger for if the doorbell is pressed on the intercom units. I'm trying to simply put it inline so the intercom still works as normal and the Shelly simply picks up on the button press on the outside units.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

Hi. I’m pretty sure these questions have been asked, but it’s a Sunday and I’m too lazy to read through this entire thread.

1. How do I get my hands on a price list and available products?
2. How do I place an order?

Thank you.

There are now online available from Nology too:
So you can compare to:
https://eiferer.co.za/collections/shelly <-- best online shop prices
https://www.geewiz.co.za/search?controller=search&s=shelly just above eiferer in price
https://www.takealot.com/all?filter=Brand:Shelly <-- most expensive online

But shellyza above in the quote is still best price and only R50 nationwide shipping and they have more devices available.

Really dont know why they dont re-list on takealot, at least the devices they have certified now. Maybe takealot blacklisted them or something.

I've been charged R100 delivery each time I've ordered? Maybe it goes on value? But the last order was over R1,000 I think.

They have more products because Shelly SA is not certified - which is also why Shelly SA are no longer on Takealot. Don't think their compliance would allow it

Hi Everyone,

I've bought myself a Shelly 1 (v3) device to try and remotely turn on/off a bathroom extractor fan i.e. effectively running it as if on a timer if possible.

The extractor is currently wired on an independent standard light switch. I've just opened up the switch and have attached photos of the connection and wires. (extractor is on the left switch)

Can anyone assist with identifying if I in fact have neutrals at the light switch and how I should connect the device? Or do I need to call an electrician to run neutral wires?

Hoping this is going to be easy. Any help would highly appreciated.

Thanks a lot!

The black wires should be neutral, but you can confirm with a multimeter.

those black wires are neutrals (or very well should fcken be). I dont really mean to be funny though but if you aren't really sure about this kind of basic its prob not best to play around?
