I have the same. Around 2.4kw or so IIRC. Everything runs off battery in my house except geyser but even that can run on essentials with timer kicking in are 4-6am before we are up to shower. Provided you don't switch them all on at once it's fine.My washing machine runs of the battery often during loadshedding. Just note that there is times during the cycle, when it does use a chunk of power. I'm assuming it's when it heats up water as it's only connected to a cold water line. It's not for long periods though, but still something to take note of. (I have a Bosch series 4 front loader).

What would the ideal settings be, or let me rather ask what the reason for this? 100% makes sense to me as I have no panels yet. Are the different settings to conserve the battery, or what is the actual purpose of those slots?
It's just you telling the system your preferred balance of either 1) saving on Eskom (lower %SOC) or 2) Conserving SOC (higher %SOC) at the expense of Eskom topup.Couple of questions for the seasoned okes.

Secondly, where would I actually set the priority, to use Eskom/Batteries/Panels first? On the Deye I found it quite quickly, on the Sunsynk, I can't seem to find it at all, or is it only when you have panels that you can set that?
How long are you going to be without panels? If for a while rather drop it to 80% lithium batteries rest at a lower charge rate than other chemistries that should be stored full. You actually decrease lifetime if you keep them at 100% all the time. But this only matters if we are talking months or more.Thank you![]()

On the sunsynk there is a checkbox under system 2 called prioritise load, on system1 is where you set the grid prioritisation.

Even wall mounting is not really an issue, mine are 10cm apart from each other...I know its 500mm from the inverter.
Battery spacing you can probably do very little if you consider rackmount batteries.
