Installer just upgraded in the middle of the day - i hadn't requested it and only noticed it when the house went offline

Weird. Hopefully mine doesn't default to that. Any idea if there's a way to change it?

It seems to be set in FW - on my display i have it set to 0w but it still pulls that 100-200w range.

I would at least try advise the installer against firmware updates from what I have read it seems sometimes it can cause the unit to stop working or brick it.

supposedly to keep meter active and prevent back feeding - but I have slowly lowered mine till its 0 and been running it as such for about a year no issues noticed
 
What app is everyone using? I have a solar setup with a Sunsynk inverter and battery and so I have been using the Sunsynk app. Its been fine but after most updates I get logged out and no longer receive notifications and server side there have been a few issues lately. Are there any good alternatives?

Sunsynk app but also experience that it logs out constantly, mainly use home assistant to control notifications nowadays.

Others on the forum also use solarman.

I have Solarman and that works great.

I also have Solar Assistant that links into my HomeAssistant setup

Yes it does as well as the screen on the inverter

For Sunsynk AFAIK only the sunsynk app (unless you install solar assistant) - its pretty stable but you do get issues like you describe now and again when ever they update and have a mess up

Generally speaking should be ok? Do not have a prepaid meter, from what I gather and seen I see quite a few have set to 0 with no issues.

I also guess try, if no trips should be good and if it trips back to 20 should be a good go to option.

Yes, IIRC the function was specifically added to prevent sensitive meters from tripping out when there were small amounts of "accidental" feed back. In the vast number of cases it's not needed.
 
Is their a cheat sheet for new Sunsyk owners? I've moved into a new place and there's a lot to take in, I just want to verify it's doing the things.

Invertor with 5kw Hubble battery, 10 x solar panels.
