You are safe to cycle them down to 20% frequently. Lower is fine but has a bit more degredation so not recommended as a daily thing.I have 10kwh capacity on my 2 batteries and when I get up in the morning some days it is on 50% charge left and my limit is set to 30% before Eskom kicks in though I have dropped the mains now as summer is coming. Is it best practice to drain the batteries down to 31% now and then or leave it and let it go back to 100% charge from solar?
The oposite is also true don't leave them full for weeks on end. Its not like lead acid that are best stored at 100% charge their storage charge is closer to 60%.
Then lastly its good to let the batteries and cells balance every couple of days by having them all full for a few hours before you start discharging.
If your system is well balanced it should all work pretty seamlessly.
