That performance of the R290 is amazing! Seeing that the R290X performance is only slightly better, I see no use of spending R2300 more to get an extra 5FPS. R290 outperforms GTX770 in every test, and tops the GTX780 in AMD preferred games.

The game changer is going to be the Nivida price-drops, which happened last week. We'll have to wait and see when it will hit us here in SA.
