So I believe I've been suffering from these for about 2 years and the specialist I saw only recommened a change of diet and or surgery.
I did some research and I see there are easier options that dont require surgery which I want to try first.
This is a nice article explaining the treatments: https://www.doctorsurgeon.co.za/excision-fissure-in-ano-dr-frikkie-rademan.html
I was wondering if I needed to see a specialist again in order to get prescribed these creams ( Rectogesic or Anoheal) or if just going to a GP is fine. And what should I explain to them?
