ANC aims to implement NHI by 2012

This is becoming the most pathetic response to any discussion on this forum! As soon as numbers are given to support an argument someone inevitably comes along saying that the numbers cannot be trusted. It seems that thumb-sucked assumptions and personal opinions are far more readily accepted than actual numbers!

You do know that the way unemployement is measured has changed in the past and will likely to continue to change in future, and that certain unemployed are deliberately not classified as unemployed due to certain minor details?

Or do you blindly follow whatever number people pull out of their a** to support there argument? If the number is thumbsucked how is that more relevant than a thumbsucked theory? You need to first understand where the number comes from in order for the number to have any use...

Look at how inflation is measured in the US, many years ago they way they measured inflation included housing prices, then they took it out.

Imagine how early people would've picked up the housing bubble through inflation if that simple measure was still included in the calc?

Our government has absolutely no idea whats its doing when it comes to "managing" funds. They merely get 'ideas' from watching certain overseas nations and stubbornly implement them. The current hospitals are in crises. Machines are broken/stolen, sanitation is appalling, staff are apathetic+overweight(nurses), underpaid+overworked(Drs). Stock supplies of gloves and medicine are simply non-existent in some centers. Its economically unsustainable and will further fracture an already over-stressed machine. But selling "Zuma Care" to the massive voter-base is all that matters. More tax will mean emigration + less spending which will further hurt the jobless economy. Fail ! All this is inviting is more sickness, sadness & entitlement.
