"AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE PARTY
The aims and objectives of the Party shall be as follows:
To use any legal and institutional means available in terms of and under the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa to promote and cause the enactment of a constitutional amendment returning the Cape of Good Hope to the independence and self-government enjoyed before it voted to join voluntarily the Union of South Africa in 1910.
To promote and encourage the development of the people spiritually, economically, educationally and politically.
To promote and encourage within the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa and throughout society a greater measure of free, critical and independent thinking, untying the political discourse from the chains of dogmas, ignorance and political correctness.
To eradicate all forms of corruption, exploitation and intimidation of man by man, fighting and opposing the ancient as well as the modern evils of government and all forms of social injustice.
To bring about the transformation of our society and system of government to ensure the long-term protection of political, economic, social and cultural pluralism.
To ensure equal and effective access to all available social, economic and political opportunities and equal treatment for all people in all walks of life.
To cooperate with any movement or organization acting for the improvement of the conditions of the people.
To reach the real and factual elimination from our society of all forms of discrimination based on race, origin, sex, colour or creed.
To protect, encourage and promote free trade, commerce, industry and agriculture, along with the conservation and rational use of natural resources.
To encourage all citizens to participate actively in all sectors of the economy and social life, and to promote the concept of participatory democracy with respect to the activities of any government.
To work for the entrenchment of a just Bill of Rights reflecting the highest standards of individual and collective human rights protection.
To foster a consciousness of patriotism and a strong sense of unity in diversity, based on a common loyalty to our land, especially the Cape of Good Hope.
To propagate among our people the spirit of self-help and self-reliance.
To cooperate locally and internationally with all parties and organizations which work for international peace and a worldwide open society based on the complete eradication of all forms of national and international oppression and on the recognition of cultural and national diversities.
To restore and maintain the safe streets, schools and workplaces, especially in the Cape of Good Hope; coming down on the side of the victim and restoring the death penalty.
To bring back our once fine schools, world-renowned hospitals and our spirit of pride in all that used to be good and envied in the Cape of Good Hope.
To promote and support worthy customs and cultures of the Cape of Good Hope while protecting the plural nature of our society.
To give effect to the principles approved from time to time by the appropriate organs of the Party.
To carry out any other activities which in the opinion of the Party are conducive to the attainment of the aims and objectives of the Party and to do such things as are incidental to the attainment of the above aims and objectives."
