and the Holocaust didn't actually really happen right, 6 million Jews, including 1.5 million Jewish CHILDREN, weren't actually murdered, just used by nazi guards to incite fear ... right?
1. In criticism of Zille's tweet, yes - I would have been okay with it. It would actually be quite apt. However, not as absurd as referencing the holocaust.
2. No, I think the dude would be in a lot of trouble. I think Andile is in a lot of trouble too...
The part about lampshades was a myth.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lampshades_made_from_human_skin
The soap part:

Saying these two things were B.S doesn't mean that the holocaust was B.S.
The holocaust unequivocally happened and 6 million Jews were killed, along with the Romani, homosexuals, disabled, ethnic Slav, Russians and Poles. This was undeniably directed by Hitler, carried out by his subordinates like Himmler, Heydrich and so on.
I have been to Auschwitz. I am no denier.
If you go to Auschwitz you will see the story about the lampshades and soap yourself.
No, I do not think we are all currently equal under law / social rules. That's a problem. It's also completely off topic.do you think he'll be in as much trouble as a white person would be for making similar comments about black people, or using the k word? Do you think Andile's life will be threatened by mass number of angry people on social media?

Please accept my apologies, I jumped to a conclusion based off the number of Holocaust deniers I have come across and sadly (and wrongly) read your message and assumed and you know what happens when we make assumptions...
Thanks for the clarification
No problem. I have done the same myself. I am very sensitive on the Holocaust and absolutely abhor deniers and tend to react very quickly myself.

I guess it is on topic if you're obsessed about being a victim. It's 100% on topic.
Andile has gone too far, but will not face censure commensurate with what a white person would face for similar sentiments against black people.

Fair enough, you did start the thread. Not a racist bud, but okay.Lol. I started the thread, I should know what is on topic. I guess you're just obsessed with being a racist?

I emphatically do not. I've already said I would have been okay with a white guy doing the same with Apartheid. His skin colour means nothing to me.You apply different behavioural standards to black and white people. What is that, if not racist?
*yawn* poor snowflakes need a safe space.
Fact is he only said this to highlight Zilles tweet which also went 'too far'.
I turned my mind from problems to possible solutions. LKY’s success was based on the only resource his country had: “People who were hard-working, thrifty, eager to learn”.
He combined this with a relentless future focus, uncompromising meritocracy, zero tolerance for corruption, and a determination to build on the institutional foundations the colonists had left behind, particularly the English language, the sea port, and the nascent, cash-based trading system.
At the time, his approach was totally counterintuitive. The conventional wisdom – nay, incontrovertible truth back then – was that multinational corporations represented the evil face of colonialism, “exploiters of cheap land, labour, and raw materials”. (The South African equivalent today is White Monopoly Capital). 32
While LKY understood this discourse, he had no time for ideology.
“We had a real life problem to solve,” he wrote, “and we could not be conscribed by any theory or dogma”.
Someone feeling irrelevant...Guptas not offloading any assets his way...
