however, if the same resources (at the time) were allocated equally to the education black school children, this country would be a vastly different place today

Considering that most of the tax revenue came from a small sector of the total population it seems reasonable to expect that a bigger proportion of the benefits would go to that sector. As events in recent years have shown, a bigger share would have been "money wasted" because burning down schools is considered to be decolonization and is wholeheartedly supported by the ANC.

Nope, he is looking for attention. Unequal treatment in SA is a huge problem. Black skin puts you in front of the queue for jobs and last in the queue for responsibility and accountability.

Well, reality is some (if not most) prefer their kids/grand children to have private school education rather than ANC education.

What she said was completely accurate. What her mistake was, ultimately, was saying it on Twitter, in a charged climate where ANC supporters will try find any excuse to string Zille up for perceived crimes against them.

The only thing there actually related to the Holocaust is the Jewish soap thing.

Hugo Boss' company made SS Officer uniforms years before the Holocaust took place, and died shortly after the war. Fanta was designed by a man who was publicly not a Nazi, and created the drink and brand to keep people employed and protect Coca-Cola's reach in the country. The VW Beetle was designed by Ferdinand Porsche in the 1930's, and was in full production before the Holocaust.

You think the driving force behind Hitler was blood-lust? Don't make a fool out of yourself! You need to know the motivations and the rationalisms of the enemy if you wish to defeat it. Making him archetypal evil loses all sense of where the Germans went wrong and misses the important message that history holds.

It's a false equivalency. The Holocaust didn't build infrastructure or introduce education, science and medicine which the victims of the holocaust derived any benefit from. 40 million odd black South Africans that are alive today because black South Africans weren't gassed and cremated attests to the fact that colonialism and the Holocaust aren't the same fccking thing.
