That was kinda the whole pointStruggled a bit to get through the first episode of season 2. There was also something irritating about the comedic stupidity of those rebels when he lands the ship at the start of E01.
S02E08 and E09 are currently both 9.8 on IMDB! That is a serious score!Damn! Episode 8 hit hard![]()

I'm 16 minutes into S02E01. Too early to tell but it feels every bit as premium as S01 did. As expected. They are both really good - im really enjoying this season
Exactly! At this stage the Imperial propaganda department had basically turned the Jedi into a myth which is why Cassian was so skeptical and thought it was a scam. This show is awesome because it's from the perspective of regular people standing up to the Empire and mirrors a lot of real world events making you feel even more immersed and interested in the characters. What is even more remarkable, no Jedi, no Darth Vader, no lightsabers. Some would say, for the genre, that would be a recipe for failure! But no, it's anything but!!
I do miss the Jedi though, I won't lie. I got really excited at the sight of the force healer but I think that's where it starts and ends...
The Jedi were basically a myth anyway. Look at Episode 1. Anakin had wild misconceptions about their order and what they actually did. It was also about 10 000 people. In a galaxy of literally trillions. So the odds of seeing one in person was miniscule.Exactly! But people still knew about them and there were regular force sensitive tests being performed on most Republic worlds along with everyone knowing about the Jedi headquarters/Temple on Coruscant. One of the first things the Empire did was destroy the temple and turn it into the Imperial Palace along with destroying most Jedi artifacts or squirreling them away in the Emperor's Observatory facilities around the galaxy. They basically tried to erase them from history which is why they faded away to folklore like in the Mandalorian where the armourer talks about stories of the past mentioning warriors who had powers similar to what Grogu used to save the Mandalorian from the mudhorn. The Jedi were basically a myth anyway.
