Has anyone managed to get the Android 9 Call Recording limitation without rooting your phone?

If so, how?
 
Yes works fine on my P30 pro. Sideloaded an dialer Huawei apk that has call recording integrated. Still works after upgrading to Android 10. Can be set to automatically record as well. Screenshot_20191127_052655_com.android.incallui.jpeg
 
Also works fine on all Xaiomi phones with the MUI dialler - no need to install anything

I am using two phones Redmi 6A (Android 9 with MUI 10) and Mi 8 Lite (Android 9 and MUI11) and call recording works perfectly on all both.

On which of your Xaiomi phones with Android 9 and the MUI dialler does call recording not work?

The link you gave explains clearly that with Xaiomi phones on Android 9, that have the standard Google dialler, call recording does not work, and when they try to install the MUI dialler it crashes:

"FlashSA said: I started using a Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro today and I have noticed the phone comes with the Google Phone app which means no more in built recording. I never had this issue with my previous phone, the Mi Max 3 as the Miui phone app is bulletproof for call recording." "Guys on the Mi forums have also been unsuccessful in installing the Miui dialler APK as they say it just crashes on incoming call."

Xaiomi phones on Android 9 with the MUI dialler (pre-installed) all work perfectly.

I also have a mi 8 lite (MIUI 12.0.3 and android 10) and the built in recording app works fine. I need another app to record whatsapp calls though. Tried one or 2 but it seems to record some times and other times not. Also it seems to interfere with the built in MIUI recorder in that the calls gets corrupted.

Have anyone ever tried recording normal calls as well as whatsapp calls? I guess one would have to disable the MIUI recorder and use a seperate app to record both?
