You can download maps for offline use on the stock Google Maps app. It's in one of the fly out menus.Yeah I went the offline route because I bought a overseas phone with a crappy GPS antenna in it. There are apparently ways to fix this ranging from opening it up to putting a piece of copper tape over the gps chip. Since my wifi only tablet has a strong Gps I figured I might as well use that, since I use Gps maybe 2 or 3 times in a year. Currently using Here as it is the best I could find, but I once did see a offline map app with a Google search function, just bugs me that I can't find it again on the play store lol.
If you find this please let me know, probably a root app that can do it but I've not found anything for stock android as yet, would love to have a way to make 360p as default. Also looking for a alternative YouTube player for my Android Tv Box. The default YouTube app plays every video in 720p upwards. Would love a app that I can set on 360P and it plays all videos on 360P.
