Android Media Streamers

Yea - was a D range ;)

I'm running the server on my normal PC and the client on my iPad so far. Works great!

I just need a client at my TV now.

You say the Blu Ray player actually has the Plex GUI? Not a Samsung overlay or anything?

The Plex app on the Sammy is still in beta at the mo so not available through the Samsung App Store yet. You have to sideload it and takes no more than 5 minutes.
For a beta it is remarkably stable. The only difference between my Galaxy Tab and PC is I had to enter the servers IP manually. Otherwise it looks and feels the same as the regular client on the other devices.

If you're interested, I can build you a microserver, install my XBMC image, provide a wireless keyboard+mouse (mini esquire one), and provide limited support for a little under R2k before shipping.

A little more expensive, but a hundred times better in the long run. ( And I can help set up a logitech harmony remote when you get to it )

- Also includes a full mini ubuntu install, so you can load firefox and alles.
- Using an Nvidia GT520

No offense dude, but Plex is so much better. I have tried XBMC a few times and just don't get what you guys see in it. Plex is designed for stand alone or distributed setup and has more viewing features.
Good price you are offering there though. Had I nor just purchased another 2 servers I would have purchased your hardware config.
I might actually still do that :)
