If they have a brick and mortar store in a mall I'm sure they're fine but if it was me personally I would probably first go to the store and buy stuff before buying online in the future.

But like I said one person in the other thread did buy from them and he said the owner was really nice and helpful too when he was there.
 
If it turns out 100% that the new update will sort out the HD Audio, I will also consider the MI Box. I was checking it out and was disappointed about the audio. OP let us know how it goes when u get it.

You should use SPMC to test, if that doesn't work I'm sure it will work in Nougat:

It's already fixed by the developer on Nougat, it's just a matter of when Xiaomi will release Nougat.

Should have done your homework, in two days it will be exactly one year since the MXV+ received a firmware update.

I would suggest you download the firmware update and flash it, I think a clean fresh firmware flash should fix some issues.

Not interested, I'm taking it straight back. If it doesn't work out of the box, then it's faulty.

I noticed your package is delayed, that sucks.

I just wanted to tell you to buy some AAA batteries for the remote, I see they aren't included and you're going to be very upset when your brand new device comes and your remote doesn't work.

Someome in another thread was talking about either the Mi Box or Geekbuying and ScottulusMaximus said some of his orders have been delayed, assumed it was you too.

Android Nougat beta file is available for flashing so the official OTA update shouldn't be too far away.

Also another firmware update and Kodi update added support for HD audio all the way up to Dolby Atmos.
