Anyone received the android 5.0.2 update yet on their android wear device? Update seems to have started a few days ago.

Anything special to expect from update?
Bug fixes, stability improvements, or so I've heard...

I reset my watch and reinstalled the android wear app and suddenly the watch notified me that 5.0.2 was downloaded and ready to install.

ZenWatch 2

What is the best bang for buck Android Wear watch on the market today?

Currently it appears to be the ZenWatch 2. But it doesn't seem to be available locally for some reason. Perhaps because of the huge bezels?

I don't have big wrists so I'm thinking the 1.45 might be a better bet.

One can probably land one here for sub R3k.

thoughts?

I still rate the G Watch R as the best looking one available locally.

I don't see them available locally anymore, at least not online. Do you know what they go for these days?

Is the R update-able to the latest version of wear?

Yep, it's running 6.0.1 at the moment.

I've got mine for more than a year, so I have no idea where to buy them. I think the Sony SW3 is probably still available locally.

I bought mine at Vodacom World, maybe take a drive there and ask them.

I'm waiting for my Gear S2 to be delivered... my Gear 2 had a speaker as well... kinda miss it.

I prefer the Gear S over the Gears S2.

The battery last longer.
The screen is bigger.
You can use it as a stand-alone device.
It can take a Sim Card
etc....

Thats locked to Samsung phones (unless you root and install crap on your phone) right? If so, no thanks.

What the S is HUGE (like wearing a phone on your wrist). No thanks! :p

I haven't seen one review/comparison on Youtube where the reviewer choose the S2 above the S.
