Is anyone's G Watch R updated to 5.0 yet?

Also: not sure if I'm just stupid, but I bought and downloaded the Skymaster Pilot watch face (the aviator watch face) onto phone, and it is not appearing on the watch as an available watch face. I have done the 'resync apps' option in the Android Wear companion app on my phone.

Software version is 4.4W.1 on watch.

Using a Galaxy Note 4 running Amdroid 4.4.4.

Am I missing something?

Also, on the Internet I find the following instructions:

" On your phone, open the Android Wear app . Under the image of your watch, you’ll see a few watch faces. Touch More."

But I don't see a "image of your watch" on the Android wear app.

This is what I see inside the app:

Thanks faniedry

I just had to be more patient. 14 hours later I got the card to update the watch, and everything is working perfect now.

So glad I got the watch! Already in the first half of a day I have found it incredibly useful to see and dismiss notifications straight from there. What a timesaver.

you'll find that eventually you won't be able to do without it. the other day i forgot to plug in my charger so the watch didn't charge, went the whole day with a dead battery on the watch... i felt so lost!

I got the Sony Smartwatch 3 to go with my Z3 Compact. I went for the Sony as it's the only watch where the time is permanently displayed without the backlight, and for the GPS.

Cool! Congrats :)

With the G Watch R, the time is also always displayed with ambient mode?

I've just had it since Thursday, and haven't fully explored it yet, but I did a mini-review here: http://anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=74390 I do miss the phone capability of the SmartBand Talk.

I would say to anyone that if you have a Sony phone, then the Sony watch is probably the best choice as the Walkman app lets you sync any album/playlist etc. to the watch. Google Play Music isn't as good in that regard yet.

Yes, I forgot about the G watch R - It's P-OLED.

The Sony has a transflexive LCD and it's pretty good in bright sunlight for seeing the time.

I have to say: Wear Mini Launcher adds great functionality to the watch.

Swipe in from left to view various apps; swipe in from left again to bring power toggles.

From where you can: change brightness setting of watch (higher and lower than you normally can), turn wifi/wifi hotspot of phone on or off; make phone give a message tone in case you have misplaced phone nearby you.

This doesn't replace any way the watch already functions.

I've got my Xperia Z3, now where can I get my hands on a Sony Smartwatch 3 at a good/decent price?
