I mentioned before that Cybersmart say things are unshaped when they are not. I even had unshaped on the invoice, but they denied it was. This company has an ethics problem of note!Okay. Problems. Well, problem. Testing their capped account at the moment, and it's working well enough, aside from one enormous issue - Diablo 3 is unplayable. Latency stays green for a bit, then orange, then red where it stays.
Testing with another ISP yields a perfect stable ~200 ms connection.
Will contact Cybersmart and see if there is a particular issue with D3 (there is, clearly).
After having spoken to them earlier in the week, this account should be completely unshaped, which is certainly not the case for Diablo 3.

The uncapped accounts are indeed limited to 300gb after which they become slow to the point of being unusable.
I'm currently on a discontinued account, the business premium uncapped account. Costs R996 including line rental (10mb) but performance is superb, on all protocols 24/7, p2p, http, nntp etc etc etc. I don't game though so critically that is one area I cannot comment on. I assume the smart business uncapped you currently on costs R899 per month all inclusive?
Not sure why you testing a capped account but there shouldn't be any performance issues on a capped account.
Email Laurie direct and tell him of the issues you are experiencing. You can also request an upgrade to the premium business account @ R996. Although discontinued I'm sure he can accommodate special requests for it.

Fair enough. They got a lot of unique offers and packages. Haven't scrutinized some of their latest offerings but find it gets a bit contrived and the waters muddied with some of their "schemes". Not to say they don't work, just prefer a "vanilla" product that works as it should!
Not sure why Diablo's not working for you. I'll send Laurie the link to this thread, maybe there's a quick fix he can action in the meantime...
