Anyone got a mail yet?
Hi AfrigirlHi all, our team encountered some difficulties loading the packages for existing clients. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
I believe they said the limitation from Vuma is that you have to spend more than you currently spend to be elligible for this special deal, so you can't downgrade or stay on the same package and pay cheaper - at the end of the day, you would need to pay them more money than you do currently per month.Hi Afrigirl
Is this the only offer I can take as I did want to downgrade to the 100/50 package at R519
Is this possible?

Once you have opted-in you will lose the promo if you upgrade or downgradeAs an existing client, once you receive the promotion mail, you have until the 29th of December to Opt-in for the promotion.
So it does not seem like I can downgrade, once logged into clientzone and clicking the link it only offered me to upgrade to 500/200 (Currently 100/100)Hi.
Should you downgrade now, the service change will only be effective at the end of December.

Yes, the link received is for clients to opt in for the promotion they qualify forSo it does not seem like I can downgrade, once logged into clientzone and clicking the link it only offered me to upgrade to 500/200 (Currently 100/100)
Ok so I cannot downgrade to 100/50 @R519 from my 100/100 @R927Yes, the link received is for clients to opt in for the promotion they qualify for
Yes, it wont be discounted.Ok so I cannot downgrade to 100/50 @R519
Please note that the discounted prices won't apply once you have changed your package. So can I opt in to the 500/200 for December and Jan and go back to 100/50

At least it is an option, and clients are not being forced to move to these higher packages at a discounted price.WTF is going on here, what a mess. I smell a rat. You are just trying to make more money from existing loyal customers by locking them into more expensive products then you migrate the rest to the new packages…….. I might be wrong but only time will tell. Somme feel like taking my bussiness elsewhere, Afrihost anyways are more expensive than some other ISPs.View attachment 1778760

People on low-line speeds right now are the best to benefit from this, and who knows, in 12 months, they might want to stay on that package...
So if I change to the 500/200 today, when will it be applied to my lineYes, it wont be discounted.
Please note that the discounted prices won't apply once you have changed your package.
